Jockey Rafael Hernandez had a fantastic day at work on Tuesday at Fairmount Park, where he booted home seven winners on the eight-race card.

Hernandez rode Hilda Tenorino (MEX), Pula Pula, Shawnee’s Stripe, Beauzippity, W W Allocation, Eye Can Flat Run, and Xtra Spicy to victory. He also had a mount on Tac Rap in the fifth race, where he finished third. Three of his winners were for trainer Mike Durham, and two were for Scott Becker.

Hernandez finished in the top 20 nationally by winners from 2011 to 2013. Hernandez, 29, is in his tenth year of his career as a jockey, according to Equibase. Always high in the rider standings at Fairmount Park, Hernandez has taken home multiple rider titles from his home base.
