Jockeys’ Guild Awards: Belinda Stronach Receives the Eddie Arcaro Award

The Eddie Arcaro Award is presented to the person(s) who has shown exceptional commitment to the jockeys and the Jockeys’ Guild. Its namesake, Eddie Arcaro, was a Hall of Fame jockey and a driving force behind the creation of the Jockeys’ Guild. He won more American Classic races than any other jockey in history and is the only rider to have won the U.S. Triple Crown twice.   The Jockey’s Guild and its members recognize Belinda Stronach and her dedication to the sport of horse racing. Through the generous support from the Stronach Group, jockeys who have suffered brain injuries can be evaluated for treatment at the After the Impact program which addresses education and care for athletes, veterans and first responders with health/behavioral issues from post-concussion syndrome, post-traumatic stress, TBI or other similar diagnoses. dcdcdc   Share this:PrintTweetShare on TumblrLike this:Like...
