Ride to Win: An Inside Look at the Jockey’s Craft, now is available for purchase in digital form for $12.95. The book, by award-winning turf writers Bob Fortus and Gary West, explores everything that goes into winning a race from a jockey’s point of view. The 280-page printed version was released in September.
The digital version includes an innovative twist – links to race videos. Readers will be able to click on links to watch races discussed in the book.
“It was exciting to find out what jockeys were thinking and doing in the midst of some of the most important races in recent history,” Fortus said. “The videos will help bring the jockeys’ words alive. Watching the races, readers will see what the riders were talking about.”
The book, published by JockeyTalk360, can be ordered at jockeytalk360.com. A significant portion of proceeds from the sale of each book is donated to the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund (PDJF).
